ComCom

Founded by a Deaf entrepreneur, ComCom is a digital matchmaking platform that connects Deaf people directly with qualified sign language interpreters, making interpreting services easier and more accessible. We provide spontaneous video interpreting as well as scheduled online and on-site interpreting for individuals, companies and public institutions.

Current challenge:
Our current challenge is establishing ComCom sustainably in Austria, where access to public funding and existing support structures has proven difficult. Despite ComCom already being operational, our funding application was not approved, while established Deaf organizations we previously collaborated with are now receiving public support to develop similar solutions.
