PICOC

PICOC is a digital prevention system designed to improve safety in winter sports. Engaging, practical content helps skiers and snowboarders develop their safety awareness and decision-making skills whilst they are out on the slopes. Accessible via a QR code and without the need to download an app, PICOC combines safety knowledge, risk assessment and emergency assistance in a single digital application. The prototype is currently being tested and further developed for initial pilot projects in ski resorts.

Current challenge:
Our next major step is therefore the transition from the tested prototype to a live pilot in a ski resort – the aim now is to develop a pilot-ready MVP with a backend based on the validated concept and to secure at least one ski resort as a pilot partner. With real guests, real data and initial evidence of its effectiveness.
