Chiara Massaroni

I am an education and research consultant specialising in child participation and global citizenship education. I conduct research that gives children a direct voice and brings their perspectives into programme development and policy. I also develop educational tools and training that promote active learning, global citizenship, and children’s meaningful engagement, with particular attention to making participation ethical and safe. Alongside my international consultancy work with UN agencies, NGOs and governments, I teach qualitative research at the University of Innsbruck. My goal is to harness the power of education and research to give greater voice and priority to children’s perspectives.
