Stefan Baumeister

After studying International Business at Reutlingen University and earning a Diploma degree in Business Administration (FH), Stefan Baumeister worked for 16 years in the IT hardware and software industry in various companies and management positions.

In 2009, he founded myclimate Germany and has been leading it as Managing Director ever since. Since 2023 he has also become Management Board member of myclimate foundation (Zurich).

Stefan considers himself as a social entrepreneur driven by the goal of achieving maximum impact in climate protection and contributing to the necessary societal transformation.

In the last years his management focus was on mindfulness-based systems change.
