CO:ACT 2025

An alpine systems lab - creating an economy for all.

2. & 3. October 2025 | Innsbruck

Now is the time.
Not for another conference — but for a space that’s honest, bold, and radically collaborative.

CO:ACT is an alpine systems lab for economic change. For two days, people who are done waiting for change will come together in Innsbruck — to connect, challenge and act. Together. For the alpine regions and beyond.

We’ll go deep into what really matters: What does a just economy look like? What happens when we center care? How do we fund transformation fairly? How can technology serve inclusion instead of control? And how do we rebuild politics that work for the common good?

CO:ACT won’t happen to you – it will happen with you. It asks for your time, your energy, and your presence. In return, you’ll find a platform, a longlasting powerful community and transformative impulses.

Are you ready to deep dive?

CO:ACT is the beginning. Of alliances. Of transformation. Of an economy that works for everyone.

Day 1: Inspiration day | Inner Dimensions

We kick off with powerful keynotes (featuring e.g. Indy Johar), immersive breakouts, and the "Transformations-Discussions" – a curated public discourse on our most polarizing economic questions. The focus: mindset, values, and the emotional tools we need to drive system change.

Day 2: Deep Dive | Thematic Tracks

This is where things get concrete.
You’ll join one thematic track — a focused, co-created space shaped by everyone in the room. Because at CO:ACT, there are no passive listeners. Each participant brings valuable expertise, lived experience, and perspective — and becomes a vital part of the track and the event.

Each group works in depth on a pressing issue, guided by expert hosts and surrounded by a curated mix of perspectives.
The goal: understanding complexity, finding common ground, and building year-round initiatives — “Islands of Coherence” — that go beyond CO:ACT.

The detailed program is comming soon!

How you can join CO:ACT 2025

CO:ACT is co-created by everyone who takes part. Each participant becomes an expert within their thematic track — not by title, but by knowledge, perspective, and lived experience.

If you haven’t received a personal invitation but feel called to be part of systemic change in the alpine region, you are more welcome to apply. In your application, we want to hear who you are and what drives you.

If your application is accepted, the CO:ACT team will assign you to one of the five tracks where your expertise and energy are most needed. From there, our journey begins.

  • 1. Step: The Call
You're feeling the urgency for system change.
  • 2. Step: Apply
Tell us who you are and what drives you.
  • 3. Step: Match
We assign you to a track based on your expertise.
  • 4. Step: Join
    You are part of it.

FAQs

Is the event in english?

CO:ACT brings together participants from across the DACH region and beyond. To foster inclusive and diverse collaboration, the main language of the event is English.

That said, we want everyone to feel welcome and included. If you are not comfortable participating in English, please reach out to us — we will do our best to find solutions (e.g. translation support or language buddies).

What is the best way to travel to Innsbruck?

We recommend travelling by foot (for participants from Innsbruck😉), by bike or by public transport. And if you are travelling by car, please try to form car pools.

If you are travelling by train: It is only a few minutes‘ walk from the main railway station to Impact Hub Tirol. At the „Messe“ stop, where trains from the direction of Kufstein usually stop, it is a few minutes less to us.

Are there car parking facilities on site?

Unfortunately, there are no parking facilities directly at the Impact Hub Tirol. We recommend using one of the car parks nearby, such as the underground car park Dreiheiligen, GSZ Bürgergarten or the car park at the main railway station.
Fees may apply.
It is worth checking with your accommodation whether it is possible to leave your car there.

How many participants are expected?

At CO:ACT 2025, you will meet around 200 people from a wide range of sectors – depending on how active you are as a networker.

Which accommodation can we recommend?

You can find a great overview of accommodation in Innsbruck on this page.

Am I part of the target group? System change topics are new to me...

Yes, you are. CO:ACT brings together people from diverse backgrounds—what matters most is your curiosity, your willingness to engage, and your commitment to contribute. You don’t need to be an expert in system change; your experiences, questions, and perspective are exactly what we need to shape new solutions together.

How can I get a ticket?

CO:ACT is a curated event. If you didn’t receive a personal invitation, you’re still very welcome to apply! Please fill out our short application form — we want to understand your motivation and make sure the group stays diverse, engaged, and committed. If your application is successful, we’ll send you the ticket link.

I can only take part for one day, does that still make sense?

Absolutely. While we recommend joining the full experience to fully immerse in the track and collaboration process, even one day at CO:ACT can be valuable. You’ll still connect with inspiring people, contribute your perspective, and take home fresh insights.
The ticket is valid for both days – it is not possible to buy a ticket for only one of the two days.

I CO:ACT accessible without barriers?

Die Bäckerei – Kulturbackstube & Impact Hub Tirol, where the event will mainly take place, is mainly barrier-free accessible. If you or your companion require barrier-free access, please get in touch with us – we will make sure that we take this into account when allocating rooms for the sessions!

What is included in the ticket?

Your ticket includes:

  • Access to all event locations in and around Innsbruck
  • Access to all sessions, stages and formats
  • Direct access to our networking areas
  • Catering for all event days
  • Pre-readings and briefings from your track host
  • Visibility as a CO:ACT participant (if you choose)
  • A vibrant community to stay connected with beyond the event
  • Closing party on Friday
Is it possible to cater for special catering requirements?

Are you a vegetarian or vegan or do you prefer kosher or halal food? No problem, our catering over the 2 days will be predominantly vegan.
Do you have coeliac disease, allergies or intolerances? Please contact us directly in good time so that we can find a good solution. In this case, please contact Lena. lena.obermair@impacthub.net

How does the ticket system work? Why are there different prices?

CO:ACT runs on a pay-what-you-can contribution model. Your financial contribution is what makes this gathering possible. The actual cost per participant is around €250 — but we trust you to decide what’s possible for you.
If you contribute more, you help others attend. If you contribute less, you’re still fully part of the event. No one is excluded based on finances. This is about collective commitment — and shared responsibility.

How do the thematic tracks work? Can I choose mine?

You’ll be asked to indicate two preferred tracks when registering. Based on your input and the overall group constellation, the Impact Hub Tirol team will assign each participant to one thematic track.
Each person stays in their track for the full second day — this creates depth, trust, and space for real collaboration. You won’t switch tracks throughout the day.
